Rapper Paul Wall has lost 100 pounds in weight after undergoing surgery for a quick fix to his "morbid" obesity.

The Grillz star reveals his unhealthy lifestyle caused him to pack on the pounds after rising to fame in 2005, and by the end of 2009, he tipped the scales at 320 pounds.

He attempted to turn his life around and embarked on a new diet and exercise regime but Wall struggled to see any results - so he decided to go under the knife and get gastric sleeve surgery, which shrinks the size of the stomach.

He tells BallerStatus.com, "I tried doing it the legit way. I stopped taking pills... all that, but it ain't work (sic). So I went out, went on and got surgery man."

Wall admits the surgery literally saved his life - because he had no idea how serious of a health problem his ballooning weight had become.

He says, "(The surgery) saved my life for real. I really didn't have too much of a choice, because the doctor told me I was morbidly obese... I was like 'Man, I'm morbidly obese, I need to do something. Man, I got to save my life.'"

And Wall, who now sports a much slimmer frame, can't wait to get back to work promoting his new album Heart of a Champion.

He adds, "I lost 100 pounds, so I'm back at my fight weight. I'm ready. The champ is back."
